The Tsering Art School was established in 1996 by HH Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche. The primary purpose of Tibetan sacred painting is as a support for Vajrayana meditation practice. The first thangka exhibition, celebrating the first graduation of students was held in 2004. This second exhibition is a celebration of the work of teachers, graduates and students who have trained in the Karma Gadri tradition from Eastern Tibet. It will include rare thangkas from the collection of Shechen Monastery, and the series of terma thangkas of HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche being painted by some of the graduate artists
